Premium Car Seat Protector

It worked an absolute treat on it's first use as little Mya got her 12 weeks shot today . We did have a little accident on the way home, but it stood up great (currently being machined washed (a per instructions)). Needless say, she looks pretty chuffed with it too...lots more adventures to come!

Fits perfectly across the seat, nice and secure around the headrests and handles. Having the ability to zip it up and cradle her in or have the flap down is a wonderful feature. Really good quality too, nice and durable material, very easy to wipe any mess. Can't recommend this product enough.

When we had 1 staffy, one of those cheap ($10-ish) car seat covers from Coles actually worked quite well, and lasted nearly 2 years.

But then we got no. 2, and as per https://www.youtube.com/shorts/pRbSAnZObdI (great video!) the old cover really wasn't up to the task.

So I bought a Premium Car Seat Protector as a replacement, and it has been fantastic. Fits the car (a Swift) really well, keeps the seat nice and clean, and keeps doggy claws from scratching the insides of the doors. The side panels also prevent no. 1 from putting the windows down by himself (once he figured out how the switches worked there was no stopping him, unless you lock the windows, which means you can't put the front windows down either).

I agree with fellow reviewer Stacia B. that it would be better if the zips faced the outside of the car, not the inside, but that is a minor quibble; you're going to get licked in any case!

And as these things happen, “Maybe we should get a third?” It works just as well with 3 dogs :-)

I was looking for a replacement hammock and love that his doesn't have a zipper in the middle, something that has broken on many other hammocks. It is nice thick material and the chin rest is a nice touch. The sides are high enough to cover the door and protect it from pup toenails and slobber. I was happy to find it has handles that slide into the seats to keep it from sliding. My only complaint is that he zippers for the side panels are on the inside instead of facing out to give easier access. The staps are long which make si nice and fit various back seats. I have already recommended this to my mom for her pibble.

The car seat cover was an easy design to fit in the Hilux. Jett jumped straight in and was ready to head off on a camping adventure!

It’s our first time using the car seat protector, so not yet sure on the durability but our other Happy Staffy Co. products have never let us down, so I’m sure this will be wonderful too!
